A Glass Act! Glass Deterioration Working Group
The goals of this initiative are threefold: 1) Document the breadth and scope of the Smithsonian glass collection by gathering data on the numbers and types of glass objects in each unit's collections, including their physical location and storage environments. 2) Conduct a comprehensive survey of the current condition of the collections. 3) Report on areas of greatest strengths and needs within each Institutional unit and across the Smithsonian.
