The National Collections Program’s Professional Development team is hosting a webinar on November 5th, 12pm-1pm via Zoom entitled, “NMNH Fossil Hall: More than just Dinos”.
Presented by Ashley Jenson (Deep Time Researcher), Holly Little (Paleobiology Informatics Manager), Amanda Millhouse (Deputy Collections Manager, Vertebrate Paleontology), Meg Rivers (Exhibition Project Manager), and Laura Soul (Deep Time education specialist), this holistic presentation will cover an overview of the paleobiology collections, a look into the development of the exhibit, an examination of the paleobiology collections’ data and digitization, how the education department makes the collections accessible for the public, and a preliminary assessment for future needs of the paleobiology collections.
